it was one of those days when you say to yourself i need a road trip, and it so happens that one of your closest friends feel exactly the same way too, and before you know it, you're sitting in the car with the windows rolled down, feet up on the dashboard if you're not driving, and you pull up to one of southwestern british columbia's most beautiful and largest fresh water lakes in the world.

so how do you celebrate?

with a beer in hand
marvelling at the fact
that we managed to get
a room overlooking the lake
on one day's notice.
